Ex-racing car driver, Jim Young and his oldest brother, explore a farm Adam has purchased. In a tobacco barn, they discover a mummified corpse in the driver’s seat of the Stingray that hit and killed Catherine Throckton. For eight years, Jim has been haunted by her death, a crime he witnessed and stands accused of committing.
Jim is determined to learn who was driving the car, to prove his own innocence. When his efforts get too close to the truth, Adam is beaten and left for dead.
